BIOGRAPHY: 

2358: Upon graduation from Starfleet Academy posted to scout vessel USS Space Ghost in the Security department.

2359: Posted to destroyer USS Sacajawea at Tactical.

2362: Posted to cruiser USS Landau as Chief of Security. Promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade. Began five-year deep space mission aboard the USS Landau.

2366: Landing party from Landau killed by mysterious assault while on routine survey mission. Preliminary reports show Breen were responsible. Max, who commanded the Away Team, was the only survivor. Max was reprimanded for his negligence, his pending promotion to Lieutenant was terminated.

2367: Promoted to Lieutenant.

2367: After tour of duty completed on the USS Landau, the CO, Captain Warren, wrote a most unfavorable review, recommending Schoenfeld be "rolled out of the service on the next waste extraction barge". Incensed by this report, Max assaulted Captain Warren in the Officer's Mess on Starbase 711. Court Martialed for Conduct Unbecoming a Starfleet Officer and reduced in rank to Lt. (JG), Ordered never to serve in Starfleet Security again. Transferred to Jupiter Station as a pilot of a waste extraction barge. 

2369: Posted to USS Victorious as Flight Operations Supervisor. Promoted to Lieutenant by old Academy buddy Captain Dave Lowe. Career seemed to have an upswing.

2370: While stationed on the USS Victorious the then Lieutenant Max was promoted to Lt. Commander and reassigned to the position of Chief of Security.

2372: Reassigned to USS Vindicator as chief CONN Officer.

2373: Posted as administrative liaison for Sector 002. As much of that sector was destroyed by the Dominion, Starfleet declared a state of emergency in that sector. Schoenfeld was the equivalent of military governor for the region. Granted temporary rank of Captain during the crisis.

2374: After the Sector returned to Civilian control, he was posted to Nebula Class Starship USS Alliance as Mission Operations Officer and returned to previous rank of Lt. Commander.

2375: Posted as XO of new Starship USS MacArthur. Promoted to full Commander. Starship commissioned SD 9810.03.

2375: Due to the major refit of the USS MacArthur because of a battle with Dominion forces there was a mass transfer of a large portion of the crew.  Many members transferred to the USS Myrddin along with Commander Max. Commander Max was promoted to Captain and given command of the USS Myrddin. 

2375: USS Myrddin destroyed in battle with Cardassian forces, most of the crew escaped unharmed.

2375: Captain Max is reassigned to newly launched Sovereign Class Starship given the name USS Myrddin. By request, the majority of those who survived the destruction of the USS Myrddin have been reassigned to the USS Myrddin.

2376: Due to a possible design flaw of the Soveriegn Class Starship the USS Myrddin Alpha while exploring an uncharted Nebula in the far reaches of the Beta Quadrant is mysteriously destroyed with all but a handfull of the crew surviving and returning to home.

2376: After many hearings and close scrutiny of Captain Max's ability to command a starship Starfleet decides to give him another command of a vessel carrying the same name as his past two. The Akira Class Starship USS Myrddin was commisioned shortly after Cpt Max's good name was cleared of any wrong doing. Along with the Akira Class Starship Starfleet felt that Captain Max should have an XO with Engineering experience to ensure it be in "safe hands" hence a previous XO of the USS Myrddin Commander Darrel Morrison was assigned .

2377: Captain Max is awarded crewman of the year for 2001.

2378: Captain Max is promoted to Vice Commander of the Genesis Fleet a specialized segment of Starfleet charged with protecting the Tampa Sector.

2379: Captain Max and the USS Myrddin are reassigned to deep space exploration duty.
