| Due to an encounter with Jem'Hadar forces the USS Macarthur has gone into dry dock for a major refit. It was a close battle however the majority of the crew survived the conflict. Because of the ship being placed into Dry Dock and the need of experienced officers because of the war the Executive Officer, Second Officer, and the Chief Engineer were reassigned to the newly refitted starship USS Myrddin. At the commissioning ceremony the Executive officer Cmdr Schoenfeld was promoted to the rank of Captain and given the job of commanding the new ship. The Chief Engineer LtCmdr Morrison was promoted to the rank of Commander and given the position of Executive officer of the USS Myrddin and his assistant Chief Allyn was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and made the Chief Engineer. |
